Cancellation Policy

By scheduling an appointment, you agree to the following terms. The full Booking Policy is available at www.RootedNotary.com/BookingPolicy Payment and Confirmation Full payment is required at the time of booking. Appointments are not confirmed until payment is received. Identification and Readiness All signers must present a valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID. Documents must be complete and unsigned prior to notarization. All signers must be present, willing, and competent at the time of service. Late Arrival and Grace Period Appointments include a 15-minute grace period. After the grace period, the appointment may be cancelled and require rebooking at full price. For remote or online appointments, failure to join within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time results in forfeiture of the session. Cancellations, No-Shows, and Refunds Fees are non-refundable once an appointment begins or services are completed. Late cancellations and no-shows require rebooking at full price. Client error, missing documents, or invalid identification do not qualify for a refund. Refusal of Service The notary reserves the right to refuse service if legal or compliance requirements are not met. Refusal of service does not entitle the client to a refund.
